In many ways, I am lucky to be alive. On September 11, 2001, my life shattered. All illusions, all hopes, all dreams, everything I thought I believed in were thrust out the door. Just like I was thrust out the door, and onto the street.

Many people are amazed when I tell them what happened. "How did you survive?" "How did you manage?" is a common response.

The answer is that I reached down deep inside myself and found a reason to keep going, keep fighting, no matter what. I adopted a positive never-say-die, never-give-up attitude. I had three kids to take care of. I HAD to adopt this attitude or they and I would not have survived.

The attitude that helped me survive also helped me start this website

A never-say-die attitude thrust this website into being in only a few short months. A never say die attitude lead me to get rid of several negative influences in my life. A never-say-die attitude will propell this website to success. I have no doubts. You will see this attitude in my writing here and there.
