The story behind "Desert Your TV"

The picture of the smashed television set was an actual set belonging to Mr. Ken Rubin. After reading about the negative effects of TV on another site, Kill Your TV, Mr. Rubin took his TV outside, took a rock and "killed" it. He then sent in a picture of his former set to Ron Kaufman who put it up on his Kill Your TV website. Mr. Rubin authorised Mr. Kaufman to use it.

We found the picture when setting up Trash Your TV and it was perfect. Trash Your TV got permission to use it and immortalized Mr. Rubin's act of TV freedom with an appropriate setting. It is now available to inspire you and your family to "kill your TV" and walk away to a better life.

The image is available on white or black t-shirts or a long-sleeve shirts.

Life is just better...Trash Your TV.
